Jonathan Tenenbaum served as the General Manager at NameJet from 2014 until he was promoted to the role of Vice President of Aftermarket Strategy and Revenue at Web.com in 2018. Jonathan managed NameJet since it had been a joint venture between Enom and Web.com up through Web.com took over complete control of the auction platform in late 2018.

According to an updated on Jonathan’s LinkedIn profile early this morning, he was just promoted to the position of Associate General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer at Web.com.

The legal role is not a new one to Jonathan. Prior to being promoted to GM at NameJet, Jonathan served as a Corporate Counsel at Web.com for five years. Jonathan is a practicing lawyer, having earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2005.

In his new role as AGC and CPO, Jonathan will take on a larger role within Web.com, beyond (but including) NameJet and the domain name aftermarket at Web.com.

I reached out to Jonathan to ask who is now managing the NameJet business, and I will update this when I hear back.
